Weil Group, Inc. busca un técnico de instrumentación con experiencia para calibrar, ajustar y mantener sistemas de control de procesos en plantas industriales. Se esperan habilidades para resolver fallas y mantener la documentación de calibración y pruebas.

El candidato ideal tendrá experiencia en configuración y puesta en marcha de instrumentos y controladores, desarrollo de programas de entrenamiento y la capacidad de trabajar conforme a normas cGMP y políticas de Amgen.

Formación

  • Mínimo 4 años de experiencia en mantenimiento/instrumentación con grado asociado.
  • O 6 años de experiencia con escuela secundaria/GED.

Responsabilidades

  • Realizar calibraciones avanzadas de instrumentos en equipos de proceso y utilidades.
  • Mantener documentación de calibración y archivos de instrumentos.
  • Desarrollar y mantener un programa de entrenamiento para el equipo.
  • Desarrollar, revisar y actualizar SOPs para áreas de instrumentación.
  • Puesta en marcha de nuevos equipos y documentación de validación.

Job description Paga 26.13 p/h. Disponibilidad a trabajar primer o segundo turno Min 4 años de experiencia en mantenimiento/instrumentacion con grado asociado o 6 años de experiencia con escuela superior.

Under minimal direction, is responsible for performing/providing calibration, repair, installation, troubleshooting, loop checking and documentation of instruments and process control systems used in manufacturing and utility plants and analytical labs. All work must be completed to assure minimal impact to production while complying with cGMP and Amgen regulations.

Functions
  • Perform advanced calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/systems.
  • Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.
  • Evaluate the current calibration cycles and make appropriate changes to optimize the calibration program.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed training program for the team in order to develop team's knowledge in all areas of the plant.
  • Develop, revise, and review SOPs for related areas. Design, install, configure, and start-up multiple instruments and microprocessor based controllers used for process control. Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software problems for computer based process control systems.
  • All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and Amgen policies.
  • Perform regular certification of equipment to verify conformance to industry standards and Amgen procedures.
  • Maintain an up-to-date cGMP training book. Plan and schedule own work activities and coordinate work performed by Amgen staff and contractors with operations staff to minimize impact to production activities.
  • Maintain, interpret, and update loop sheets, electrical schematics, P&ID's, I/O wiring, and panel drawings.
  • Complete PLC, DCS, BMS, and MMI programming and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Start-up of new equipment to ensure it meets all instrumentation design specifications.
  • Assist with the development and lead in the execution of validation documents for instrumentation equipment.
  • May have led responsibilities within the work team.
  • Support on call response by maintaining a pager or cell phone while on-call.
Education/Licenses:
  • Associate’s and 6 months of instrument work or military experience
  • OR

  • High school/GED + 2 years of instrument work or military experience
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
  • A highly skilled craftsperson with an expert knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation.
  • Advanced understanding of process control loops, loop checks, loop tuning of process control systems, with the ability to do programming and troubleshooting of computer based control systems (PLC, DCS, BMS, MMI).
  • Has received training or hands on experience in such specialized subjects as theory of control, analog and/or digital electronics, microprocessors and/or computers, and the operation and maintenance of a wide variety of field instrumentation.
