Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Instrumentation Technician for the night shift at our Rhode Island site. The role emphasizes maintaining and calibrating equipment and performing diverse maintenance tasks across the facility.

You will follow cGMPs and SOPs, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with system operators and stakeholders. The position includes a 12-hour night shift (7PM-7AM) with a 15% shift differential during onboarding and beyond as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED and 1 year of Maintenance or military experience OR
• Associates degree
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled calibration and corrective maintenance and repair activities on equipment and systems across the Rhode Island site
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems
• Ensure activities are performed safely and with quality per SOPs and cGMPs
• Work efficiently to maximize completed activities and communicate results to operators and stakeholders
• Document work orders accurately and completely and identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide support outside normal hours including nights, weekends and holidays
