Job summary

CIS International LLC in Juncos, PR seeks an Sr. Instrument Technician to calibrate, repair, install and troubleshoot process instrumentation while maintaining cGMP and Amgen regulations. The role involves documentation, SOP development, and on-call support.

The candidate will start with first/second shift or non-standard shifts with a potential extension after a 5-month project, and will work on-site in Puerto Rico.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with instrument work or military experience is required.
• High school/GED with 2 years instrument work or military experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
• Maintain an up-to-date spare parts inventory for equipment/systems.
• Ensure calibration paperwork and instrument files are accurate.
• Evaluate calibration cycles and optimize the program.
• Develop and maintain a detailed training program for the team.
• Design, install, configure, and start-up instruments and controllers used for process control.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software in control systems.
• Lead in development and execution of validation documents for instrumentation equipment.
• May have lead responsibilities within the work team.
• Support on-call response.
