Job summary

Miltenyi Biotec, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician I who will perform semi-routine repairs on laboratory instruments and support logistics, including setup and movement of instruments between the service center and warehouses.

The role requires a HS Diploma and 2 years of technical training, plus 2 years in a technical field. The position involves travel up to 10% domestically/internationally, opportunities to contribute to QC testing, and collaboration with customers via email, phone, and

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; 2 years formalized technical/mechanical training or education (e.g. associate's degree)
• 2 years of experience in a technical/mechanical field
• Must be comfortable working with potentially biohazardous materials
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong PC skills and use of PC applications

Responsibilities

• Perform fault finding and repair on new, loaner, demo and trade show instruments.
• Support logistics for new/loaner/demo instruments including setup, repair, maintenance, QC, packaging and movement.
• Independently perform QC activities on instruments as needed.
• Complete comprehensive written service reports/cases for activities.
• Move large instruments in/out of service center and crates; unpack/pack instruments.
