Job summary

Reworld in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to conduct routine and emergency maintenance of the facility's electrical and control systems. You will diagnose and repair power plant equipment including boilers, field controllers, motor control centers, and high/low voltage gear.

Join a small team focused on safe operation and reliability, with opportunities to work on energy-from-waste systems and advanced emissions controls.

Qualifications

Experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain/repair power plant electrical/control systems.
Maintain & test LV/MV switchgear, breakers, MCCs, transformers.
Troubleshoot and repair CEMS and plant instrumentation across energy-from-waste systems.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and testing of low and medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, and power transformers.
Perform maintenance of higher voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine driven generators.
Perform electrical maintenance work related to energy from waste boilers and its associated equipment, including fans, motors, and cranes.
Electrical maintenance work related to energy from waste air pollution control systems.
Troubleshoot, inspect, adjust, and repair CEMS and plant instrumentation.
