Job summary

Central Valley Training Center Inc. is seeking a Lead Instructor to guide a team of instructors, deliver high-quality instruction to adults with intellectual disabilities, and ensure adherence to the agency’s positive behavioral program in classroom and community settings.

You will develop person-centered lesson plans, supervise daily operations, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support participants’ goals and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities is desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to implement individualized assessment objectives.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of Instructors and plan group activities.
• Deliver direct individual and group instruction aligned to goals.
• Maintain a safe, structured environment and apply positive behavior support.
• Collect data and complete program paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate participant outings and maintain professional communications.
