Job summary

Central Valley Training Center, Inc. in Visalia, CA is seeking an Instructor Floater to provide quality instruction and supervision for adults with intellectual disabilities.

You will support multiple teams by covering breaks, delivering direct services, and implementing the agency’s positive behavioral program. Responsibilities include supervising participants, maintaining a non-aversive environment, collecting data, and completing paperwork with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Clear and timely communication with participants, managers and external partners.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Experience or training in Positive Behavior Support or related strategies is preferred.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills for charting progress and incidents.
• Ability to work with adults with intellectual disabilities in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide group coverage for breaks and direct services as assigned.
• Deliver one-to-one and group instruction based on participant goals and abilities.
• Maintain safe, structured environment using non-aversive strategies.
• Document outcomes accurately and maintain required paperwork.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and other agencies.
