Job summary

Central Valley Training Center Inc. is seeking an Instructor Floater to provide quality instruction and supervision for adults with intellectual disabilities in an in-person setting in Fresno, CA.

The role involves facilitating rest breaks, meals, and other direct services while implementing the organization’s positive behavioral program. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, experience with adults with intellectual disabilities, and the ability to follow directions,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities desirable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and maintain professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide group coverage for rest breaks, meals, and direct service.
• Deliver individual and group instruction based on participant goals.
• Maintain a safe, non-aversive environment and document outcomes.
• Complete program paperwork accurately and collect data.
• Collaborate with teams and external agencies as needed.
