Job summary

The Apex Agency is seeking a talented instructional designer to design engaging learning solutions, primarily eLearning, and to support blended programs.

You will translate business goals into learning objectives, develop storyboards, scripts, and learner materials, and collaborate with SMEs, designers, developers, and project managers to deliver impactful training in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of instructional design or corporate training experience.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience designing eLearning, instructor-led, and blended learning programs.
• Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into clear learning experiences.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs and cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Pride in work; provide 2–3 examples of instructional design projects such as eLearning, storyboards, or facilitator guides.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging learning solutions, primarily eLearning, as well as virtual and in-person instructor-led training and blended programs
• Translate business goals and SME input into clear learning objectives and effective learning strategies
• Develop storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, and learner materials
• Create interactive activities, scenarios, and assessments that reinforce learning
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure learning solutions align with business goals and performance outcomes
• Collaborate with designers, developers, SMEs, and project managers to bring programs to life
• Continuously improve learning experiences based on feedback, data, and learner performance
