Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Human Skills Instructional Designer to design, develop and maintain learning solutions that support the Human Skills curriculum, Leadership Edge portfolio and manager development programs.

As an Instructional Designer in Leadership Development, you will leverage learning technologies and AI-enabled tools to create engaging and accessible learning experiences that promote skill development and behavior change.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or corporate learning.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and learner-centered design principles.
• Experience designing ILT, VILT and self-paced digital learning solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Excel, SharePoint).
• Competence using AI-enabled content development technologies responsibly and effectively.
• Strong writing, editing and communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts.
• Experience creating storyboards, facilitator materials, learner guides and assessments.
• Project management and organizational skills with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ILT, VILT, eLearning, performance supports and facilitator guides.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Partner with stakeholders to conduct needs analysis and define objectives.
• Create design outlines, storyboards, activities, scenarios and assessments.
• Design experiences that develop Human Skills such as communication and leadership.
• Use AI-enabled tools to enhance learning design and engagement.
• Develop and maintain eLearning content using enterprise platforms.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, branding and quality; analyze learner data.
• Collaborate with multimedia teams to develop videos, graphics and interactive learning.
• Perform quality reviews and maintain curriculum consistency.
• Stay current on best practices and AI trends in workplace learning.
