Job summary

The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at MCPHS is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of courses and strategic initiatives in a fast-growing environment. This role coordinates project timelines, manages stakeholders, and supports QA, educational technology, and assessment to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

Reports to the Instructional Design Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8 years in education preferred (adult/online/continuing).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop processes, workflows, and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead course development projects and QA reviews.
• Coordinate timelines, stakeholders, and communications.
• Implement new educational technologies and LMS testing.
• Manage annual course update processes and QA.
• Support accreditation and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, vendors, and SPS priorities.
