Job summary

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) invites applications for a Senior Instructional Designer to lead course design, development, and continuous improvement within the School of Professional Studies.

You will manage timelines, QA, and educational technology while collaborating with faculty, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, accessible learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in education, preferably online or professional education.
• Strong project management experience and organizational skills.
• Strong collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Ability to develop and improve processes, workflows, documentation, and systems.
• Strong technical skills with learning management systems and educational technologies.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgement and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of courses and programs.
• Coordinate course development projects, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• Support quality assurance, educational technology, and assessment efforts.
• Ensure engaging, accessible, high-quality learning experiences with faculty and staff.
• Manage LMS content reviews, updates, testing, and operational support.
• Oversee QA processes, annual course updates, and vendor relationships as needed.
• Provide onboarding materials and training resources for faculty and staff.
