Job summary

IB3 Global Solutions in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Senior Instructional Designer to plan, design, develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate high-quality training programs for the DOE acquisition community. You will collaborate with NTC instructors, SMEs, and RDTs to create engaging learning experiences for classroom, virtual, eLearning, and scenario-based delivery.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of instructional design, curriculum development, or related training experience.
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and systematic training development methodologies (ADDIE or equivalent).
• Experience conducting training needs assessments, job/task analyses, curriculum development, and evaluations across formats.
• Proficiency with tools including Microsoft Office, Adobe, LeaderGuide Pro, Focus Learning VISION, or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, implement, maintain, and evaluate training programs and instructional materials.
• Conduct training needs assessments and analyses to identify performance gaps and learning objectives.
• Develop materials for classroom, virtual, eLearning, self-paced, and scenario-based delivery.
• Collaborate with instructors, SMEs, and stakeholders to translate complex technical information into effective learning experiences.
• Manage course development projects, including planning, coordination, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify needs, anticipate challenges, and elevate significant issues with sound judgment.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to content and delivery methods.
• Review training products for technical accuracy and alignment with DOE requirements.
• Contribute to curriculum management processes, tools, and QA practices.
• Collaborate across functions and assist with LMS hosting and course uploads.
