Job summary

Nationwide IT Services, Arlington, VA, seeks an Instructional Systems Designer II to support the National Guard Bureau training program. You will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate curricula for DoD personnel, collaborating with SMEs, instructors, and Government stakeholders to ensure alignment with DoD standards and adult learning principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in instructional systems design for military training.
• Knowledge of ADDIE and adult learning principles.
• Ability to develop measurable learning objectives and assessments.
• Familiarity with SCORM and LMS environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate instructional materials and curricula.
• Collaborate with SMEs to create TLOs and ELOs.
• Develop lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
• Apply adult learning theory to training programs.
• Conduct needs analyses and curriculum evaluations.
• Support classroom, virtual, hybrid, and asynchronous delivery.
• Create SCORM-compliant learning materials for LMS.
• Develop Level II assessments and analyze results.
• Coordinate annual curriculum reviews and updates.
