Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a master teacher to support curriculum instruction for grades K-12 and to align teaching strategies with content standards. You will work with the teacher of record in CMSS to integrate technology, coach peers, and lead professional development within MTSS framework.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, NC teaching license in the content area, and five years of successful teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid NC Teaching license in content area required
• Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience as successful content area teacher required
• Equivalent combination of experience and education

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with school administration and teacher of record to implement targeted instructional strategies
• Demonstrate instructional expertise and coaching skills
• Support PLCs in developing classroom practices to meet needs
• Develop and evaluate professional development aligned to school goals
• Improve classroom instruction with clear expectations and coaching feedback
• Conduct follow-up conferences providing actionable feedback
• Oversee planning and follow-up of school-based professional development
• Assist teachers in applying new professional learning
• Analyze data to identify learning trends and set goals
• Support an instructional program conducive to accelerated achievement
• Investigate instructional research to identify promising strategies
• Regularly assess student learning and provide timely feedback
• Team-teach with colleagues to meet diverse learning needs
