Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a part-time Master Teacher to work with the teacher of record in K-12 classrooms, implementing effective teaching strategies aligned to content standards. This role includes technology integration, MTSS framework, and supporting PLCs to improve student outcomes.

The position reports to the Principal and is based at the district premises; valid NC Teaching license in the relevant content area is required, with a Master’s degree preferred and at least five

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and valid NC Teaching license in content area.
• Master's degree preferred and demonstrated success as a content-area teacher.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a successful content-area teacher.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with school administration to provide targeted instructional strategies including technology integration.
• Demonstrate instructional expertise and coaching skills.
• Support professional learning communities to meet student needs.
• Develop, facilitate, and evaluate professional development activities.
• Use data to identify learning trends and adjust instruction.
