Fermilab seeks a Deputy Installation Manager to join the LBNF/DUNE Project, supporting the Far Detector and Cryogenics subproject. The role involves coordinating project management, procurement readiness, and schedule control, with international collaboration and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering Management or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of cost and schedule management, change control processes, procurement planning, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute project management functions for the Far Detector, including setting project objectives and monitoring activities.
• Support procurement readiness, production readiness, and operational readiness review processes.
• Develop and manage cost and schedule estimates and monitor budgets for alignment with project goals.
• Lead or participate in project management and FDC subproject team meetings.
• Provide input on work planning documents and hazard analyses to support installation activities.
