Job summary

Fermilab seeks an Electrical Construction Manager for the LBNF/DUNE project in Lead, South Dakota. You will coordinate installation, procurement and planning for 15 kV electrical infrastructure, reviewing design and construction documents with multiple teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 10+ years in heavy industry, with CAD (Autodesk) and strong communication skills. Onsite work with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 10+ years of heavy industrial/commercial experience; or 15+ with an Associate degree.
• Knowledge of electrical design, installation and codes.
• Ability to develop specifications and project documentation.
• Experience with 15 kV electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, procurement, and planning for electrical infrastructure up to 15 kV.
• Review design, drawings, and work packages across multiple teams.
• Develop and maintain 2D drawings and 3D model updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA, and project requirements.
• Lead field inspections and manage contractor interfaces.
• Prepare procurement packages and review bids.
• Support schedule development and resource planning.
