Job summary

Nikon SLM Solutions is seeking an Installation Manager to oversee the deployment of our advanced metal additive manufacturing systems at client sites in the U.S. You will lead a field service team, ensure safety, quality, and efficient installations, and serve as the main technical liaison with customers during the installation phase.

This role requires a strong engineering background, at least five years in installation or field service with two years in supervision, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in an installation or field service role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
• Willingness to travel 70–100% across weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of installation service technicians, ensuring efficient and high-quality installations.
• Oversee the installation process at customer sites, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers during installations, providing technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed installation records, prepare reports for senior management, and update installation procedures.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve installation processes and stay updated on industry advancements.
