Job summary

Quadel Consulting & Training seeks an experienced Inspection Manager to lead the inspection department in Miami, FL. You will ensure HUD HQS and NSPIRE compliance for assisted housing, supervise staff, and maintain proper inspection records and reporting.

You will stay current with HQS regulations, coordinate with landlords and tenants, and oversee on-site inspections across multiple sites. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of HUD HQS regulations and NSPIRE standards.
• Proficiency with inspection software and tablet-based systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the inspection department to ensure HQS/NSPIRE compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update inspection policies.
• Supervise staff, assign workloads, and schedule inspections.
• Review inspection results for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain auditable inspection records and prepare performance reports.
• Communicate inspection results and required repairs to landlords and tenants.
• Conduct initial, annual, rent eligibility, and complaint inspections as needed.
