Job summary

Quadel is seeking an experienced Inspection Manager to lead the inspection department, ensuring all assisted rental units meet HUD HQS/NSPIRE standards and HCV requirements and comply with building codes. You will supervise inspectors, manage workloads, perform inspections, and maintain detailed records while communicating results to landlords and tenants.

This role requires strong regulatory knowledge, excellent documentation, and the ability to implement policy updates as HQS/NSPIRE standards

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of HUD HQS/NSPIRE regulations and residential building codes.
• Experience with inspection software and tablet-based systems.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the inspection department to ensure HQS/NSPIRE compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to inspection policies.
• Supervise staff, assign workloads, and schedule inspections.
• Review inspection results for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare reports on outcomes, trends, and program performance.
• Maintain auditable inspection records in electronic databases.
• Communicate results and required repairs to landlords and tenants.
