Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Engineer Manager to lead a team of 8–10 engineers and architects in support of the HEITS Contract under the DHS Insider Threat Program (ITP). You will direct UAM, DBAs, ISSOs and network specialists to sustain and advance the cybersecurity baseline, ensuring availability, performance, and accreditation of enterprise systems.

The role requires advanced leadership, strong communication skills, and experience presenting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in IT management or engineering preferred.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience presenting to senior management and stakeholders.
• Experience in DHS or DoD environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, DBAs, ISSOs and other technical staff.
• Coordinate activities to ensure UAM software and infrastructure are operational.
• Oversee monitoring, upgrades, and system recapitalization.
• Ensure information assurance and security accreditation.
• Develop and present technical documentation and briefings.
