Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Engineer Manager to lead a team of engineers and architects supporting the DHS Insider Threat Program (ITP). The role focuses on sustaining and advancing the ITP cybersecurity infrastructure, troubleshooting critical customer systems, and ensuring high availability across the UAM, network, and security domains.

The successful candidate will manage 8–10 specialists, interface with senior management, and contribute to security engineering, documentation, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Leadership experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports
• Experience preparing and presenting briefings to senior customer management and stakeholders
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Engineers, Database Analysts, Network Engineers, ISSOs and other technical staff.
• Coordinate activities to ensure User Activity Monitor software, baseline, maintenance/updates, and enterprise infrastructure are operational; guide upgrades and recapitalization.
• Support documentation to capture the configuration baseline effectively.
• Support performance management to track key enterprise metrics.
• Oversee information assurance to maintain security accreditation.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with project managers to bring projects to completion.
• Evaluate and test new security technologies and processes to enhance defenses.
