Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 8–10 engineers and architects supporting the DHS Insider Threat Program (ITP). You will oversee UAM, databases, networks, and information assurance while driving upgrades, performance, and security accreditation.

The role demands 15+ years of related experience, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills for briefings to senior management and stakeholders. On-site in Virginia with DoD/DHS context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Leadership experience required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses and reports.
• Experience presenting briefings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, DBAs, ISSOs and other technical staff.
• Coordinate activities to maintain UAM software and infrastructure.
• Provide guidance on upgrades and system recapitalization.
• Manage availability, capacity, and networking requirements for enterprise.
• Oversee information assurance activities to maintain security accreditation.
• Evaluate new security technologies and processes for the enterprise.
