Job summary

J.R. Automation Technologies, LLC, a Hitachi Group Company, is hiring an Inside Sales Manager - Aftermarket in Holland, MI. This full-time, onsite role may hybrid or remote for the right candidate, overseeing the aftermarket inside sales function.

You will lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives, drive revenue growth, manage inquiries, quotes, and orders, and collaborate across Aftermarket teams to deliver customer value and ensure process excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in a Sales or other customer-facing role required.
• 2+ years leading teams required.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen required.
• Experience in the automation industry preferred.
• MS Office, Salesforce, Epicor and Windchill proficiency with advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales Representatives to achieve sales, service, and productivity targets.
• Supervise Inside Sales Rep team: priorities, performance, hiring and promotions decisions.
• Manage daily workflow to ensure timely response to inquiries, quotes, and orders.
• Establish KPIs and drive process improvements and resource allocation to address deficiencies.
• Resolve customer escalations and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
• Drive quote-to-order conversion through follow-up and coaching of ISR behaviors.
• Monitor open-quote backlog and lost sales opportunities and implement improvements.
• Support budget development and monitor ISR budgets, forecasts, and operating expenses.
• Ensure CRM data accuracy and promote cross-selling for aftermarket products and services.
• Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, capacity planning, and growth strategies.
• Be the primary management representative for Inside Aftermarket Sales and drive performance dashboards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and continually develop ISR team members.
