TPI Global Solutions seeks an Inpatient Coder III to ensure accurate and compliant inpatient coding with ICD-10-CM/PCS, collaborating with physicians and HIM staff to support appropriate reimbursement and reliable data for patient care.

This role contributes to audits, quality improvement, and team development while upholding HIPAA and coding guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong inpatient coding background and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in HIT required.
• Minimum 5 years of direct inpatient coding experience.
• 5+ years healthcare industry experience.
• 5 years in the same work environment (hospital/department).
• Preferred: RHIA certification.

Responsabilités

• Review and code complex inpatient records using ICD‑10‑CM/PCS with accuracy and compliant reimbursement.
• Analyze documentation to identify diagnoses, procedures, comorbidities, and complications affecting DRG.
• Apply advanced coding knowledge to resolve complex scenarios within guidelines.
• Initiate and respond to provider documentation queries for complete, compliant records.
• Utilize coding systems and EHR tools to support accurate inpatient workflows.

Associate Degree in Health Information Technology (HIT)

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management (HIM)
