Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• RHIA, RHIT or CCS credential required.
• 5+ years of inpatient facility coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality hospital coding on inpatient accounts including Medicare/Non Medicare, Surgical, Medical, Cardiac, moms/babies, and trauma cases.
• Ensure documentation supports correct ICD-10/PCS codes and asks for missing details per facility guidelines.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy targets, and follow facility policies.
