Job summary

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services Attorney at Latham & Watkins will operationalize AI-powered solutions to support matter teams through client outreach, trial, or deal closing, across Austin, San Diego, Orange County, or LA. The role supports attorneys with AI prompts and workflows in a hybrid, in-office setting.

You should have a JD from an ABA‑accredited school, admission to a US state bar, and at least five years as an innovation or litigation/transaction attorney in a law firm.

Qualifications

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and provide strategic support.
• Knowledge of AI concepts as they relate to legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated AI support resource for litigation or transactional attorneys.
• Assist practice groups in adopting AI-enabled workflows and develop AI prompts aligned with case strategy.
• Collaborate across practice groups to gather feedback and identify AI opportunities.
