Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners seeks an Inkjet Application Engineer to advance a custom printing platform from R&D to production for flexible electronics. You will optimize inkjet and micro-pen delivery, troubleshoot hardware/software, and drive milestones for electronic and RF/microwave components used in defense and commercial markets.

Responsibilities include testing inks, running industrial printers, tuning waveforms, and supporting DoD contracts with technical reports and demos.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in inkjet application development or additive manufacturing with focus on electronics.
• Strong knowledge of piezoelectric and thermal printhead tech, waveform tuning, and fluids.
• Experience debugging hardware/software and refining print files with standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Test inks, printheads, and substrates for quality and requirements.
• Operate industrial inkjet printers and micro-pen dispensers for high-precision parts.
• Evaluate fluid–structure interactions and tune printing waveforms.
• Collaborate with sales to define customer requirements and cost estimates.
