Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Inkjet Application Engineer to advance a printing platform from R&D to production for flexible electronics. The role focuses on optimizing inkjet delivery systems, addressing hardware/software challenges, and driving milestones for electronic and RF/microwave components used in defense and commercial markets.

You will test inks, operate industrial inkjet printers, tune waveforms, and collaborate with sales to tailor customer solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in inkjet application development or additive manufacturing.
• At least 2 years on electronic, electrical, or RF/microwave components.
• Strong understanding of printhead technology and rheology.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.

Responsibilities

• Test inks, printheads, and substrates for quality and compatibility.
• Operate/optimize industrial inkjet printers and micro-pen dispensers.
• Tune waveforms for flexible and RF/microwave electronics.
• Define customer requirements and prepare cost estimates.
• Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations and field service support.
• Document designs and prepare technical reports and SOPs.
• Train customers and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate on proposals and government contract support.
