Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to provide technical support for injection molding systems at client sites in Charlotte, NC. The role involves setting up, troubleshooting, optimizing, and repairing equipment, with mentorship duties to guide other team members.

Required are post-secondary tech/engineering studies and 10+ years in injection molding maintenance and troubleshooting, along with strong communication and customer service skills. Extensive travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education is required in Technical or Engineering related studies.
• 10+ years of injection molding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and make corrections to control systems including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and programmable controls.
• Calibrate machines to optimize performance and set up/maintain equipment.
• Provide setup and startup support for Husky equipment.
• Repair and/or replace components on machines, robots, and molds as required.
• Develop and maintain superior customer relations and coordinate with internal resources for effective service.
• Instruct other service technicians and customer operators on maintenance and safe operation of injection molding systems.
