Job summary

Xometry in North Bethesda, MD, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Injection Molding, to act as a trusted advisor bridging technical depth with business value. You will lead discovery, assess customer needs, and propose manufacturing solutions leveraging Xometry's platform and services, including tooling and mold design expertise.

The role requires hands-on experience in injection molding, strong communication with engineers and executives, and the ability to manage multiple long-term

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a related field (Mechanical/Plastics) is preferred.
• 5–7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or a technical role.
• Strong CAD and technical drawing experience; GD&T proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations with Sales to uncover business and technical requirements and map them to Xometry solutions.
• Be the technical liaison between molding teams and the customer.
• Consult directly with prospects and customers to identify applications of Xometry's technology and build the business case.
• Demonstrate Xometry's capabilities, including our software quoting platform, to engineers and executives.
• Partner with product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams; feed customer insight back into the business.
