Job summary

Valeo is seeking an Injection Process Engineer in Seymour, IN to support the Injection Molding Team and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include coaching, planning, issue analysis, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet project roadmaps and customer requirements.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of experience working with plastic injection molded parts in a high-speed production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with plastic injection molded parts in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and team coaching skills.
• Familiarity with IP and VPS tools and QRQC methodology.

Responsibilities

• Coach Injection Molding Team and lead QRQC activities including escalation when needed.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate advanced industrial engineering assignments for Manufacturing Engineering.
• Support site managers in issue analysis and action plan definition.
• Estimate workforce needs and schedule work to meet timelines and technical specs.
• Coordinate and supervise engineers, technicians and designers on projects.
• Review production schedules with Master Scheduler and ensure alignment with roadmaps.
• Facilitate Problem Solving Groups with cross-functional and supplier representatives to identify root causes.
• Support initial sample documentation for new service parts to ensure first-time acceptance.
