Job summary

Valeo in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Injection Molding Team, plan and coordinate advanced industrial engineering assignments, and assist site leadership to meet delivery and technical specs.

You will apply QRQC, 5S and IP tools, supervise engineers and technicians, analyze issues with APU/Site Manager, and drive root-cause analysis with suppliers to ensure right-first-time parts and adherence to roadmaps.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
Minimum of 4 years related experience.
Experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the Injection Molding Team through coaching, meetings and on job training.
Plan, schedule, and conduct industrial engineering assignments.
Analyze issues with APU Managers / Site Manager.
Estimate workforce needs and schedule work to meet dates and specs.
Supervise Engineers, Technicians and Designers as needed.
Facilitate IP and VPS tools such as 5S, QRQC and improvement proposals.
Review daily production schedules with the Master Scheduler.
Follow procedures to meet project roadmaps.
Organize Problem Solving Groups with functions and suppliers to find root causes.
Support Customer Initial Sample submissions with correct documentation for right first time acceptance.
Complete other job functions as directed.
