Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• At least 3 years of proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with injection molding equipment function.
• Experience with new model design and development.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex manufacturing issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet short- and long-term deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and conduct research to assess manufacturability.
• Identify concerns with manufacturability and propose corrections.
• Identify concerns with injection molding processes and propose countermeasures.
• Maintain knowledge of customer production and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with departments to address mass production issues.
• Design, modify, and update dies and related equipment for injection molding.
• Maintain open communication between customers, design team, and other departments.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
