Job summary

HellermannTyton North America is seeking an Advanced Molding Group Process Engineer to optimize new injection molded parts and processes for production using OEE and processing windows. This role focuses on high–risk projects and collaboration with materials, tooling, and quality teams.

You will research and implement new materials and processes while supporting Quality and EHS&S standards, PFMEAs, and Control Plans across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on injection molding experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• High mechanical aptitude.
• MS Office software skills.
• Ability to travel 2–4 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Bring projects into production with acceptable OEE and risk.
• Mentor process engineers and technicians; guide project teams.
• Collaborate with materials, mold tooling, and quality engineers to optimize systems.
• Evaluate equipment and suggest improvements (screw geometry, dryers, blenders).
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate actions with labs.
• Set up, run, and evaluate DOEs; make recommendations.
• Assist in evaluating key process-related equipment.
• Explain APQP concepts; write PFMEAs; understand DFMEAs and Control Plans.
• Ensure quality and EHS&S compliance; support training needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
