Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to lead injection molding process development and optimization efforts.

You will serve as the technical authority on molding processes, driving innovation and best practices across engineered and commodity resins to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability. You will deliver targeted training, troubleshoot processes, and collaborate with the Engineering Manager to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of engineering resins, injection molding equipment, tooling, scientific molding, and plastic structural foam processes.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or quality certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives for injection molding operations
• Serve as the technical leader for injection molding processes, driving innovation and best practices
• Develop, optimize, validate, and troubleshoot injection molding processes utilizing engineered and commodity resins
• Act as the primary manufacturing resource during Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews to ensure product feasibility
• Deliver training on advanced processing techniques, setup procedures, troubleshooting, and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Support production goals through close collaboration and coordination with the Engineering Manager
