Job summary

MRP Solutions, a plastic cap manufacturer, seeks a Process Engineer to develop and qualify injection molding processes using scientific molding principles. You will lead improvement projects, mentor molding staff, and ensure production-ready molds are implemented at the Somerset, NJ site.

Qualified candidates have 7+ years in process engineering, a plastics/engineering degree, and experience with stack molds and hot runner systems. Travel <25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on process engineering in high-volume molding environments.
• BS or BSAS in Plastics, Mechanical or Chemical engineering preferred.
• Strong background in injection molding processing and mold qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and optimize injection molding processes using scientific molding.
• Lead process improvements, troubleshooting, and data-driven reporting.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to molding personnel.
• Deliver production-ready molds and processes to Somerset, NJ site.
• Support cross-site training and continuous improvement programs.
