Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Sr. Plastics Processing Engineer to develop injection molding process parameters and oversee mold shop operations in our MA facility.

You will support production schedules, maintain equipment, and execute mold validations while mentoring co-ops and engineers. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Scientific Molding, a BS in Plastics Engineering (MS preferred), and the ability to train others in molding processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing injection molding parameters using scientific molding principles.
• BS in Plastics Engineering or equivalent; MS is a plus.
• Ability to independently solve mold and process issues and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Establish and optimize injection molding process parameters on new and existing molds.
• Provide technical guidance to mold technicians and operators.
• Lead mold validations and equipment qualifications.
• Review part designs for internal molding opportunities and support R&D.
• Develop and revise SOPs and ECOs for molding operations.
