Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a hands-on injection molding professional to set up and optimize machines, improve processes, and reduce scrap while maintaining quality targets. You will lead process development and collaborate with engineering and quality teams on new product launches.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience in molding, strong knowledge of thermoplastics, and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex defects. Safety and continuous improvement mindsets are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding processing.
• Strong knowledge of thermoplastics, material behavior, and processing techniques.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex molding defects and process issues.
• Experience with machine setup, process development, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and optimize injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Develop, adjust, and maintain molding processes to meet quality, cycle time, and scrap targets
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex molding defects (short shots, flash, warpage, splay, burn marks)
• Analyze recurring process issues and implement corrective actions to improve consistency and efficiency
• Modify and adapt processing parameters, tooling, materials, and equipment to resolve production challenges
• Perform mold validations, process studies, and parameter optimization
• Interpret part quality data and make process adjustments based on root cause analysis
• Work with engineering and quality teams to support new product launches and process development
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
