Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive injection molding Process Technician experience with advanced setup, processing and troubleshooting.
• Strong mastery of injection molding fundamentals, process optimization, defects, and hot-runner systems.
• Experience leading or mentoring technicians across Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis and correction of complex or recurring issues with machines, molds, robotics, hot runners, and process conditions.
• Establish and optimize robust processing windows using scientific molding principles and data.
• Create, modify, validate, and document machine and robot programs within change-control requirements.
• Guide technicians through startups and troubleshooting, communicating risk and recovery plans to production leadership.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and reinforce standard work and skill development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify improvements to increase output, reduce cycle time and scrap, and improve changeover performance.
• Support trials, mold launches, process validation, and transfer of knowledge to production teams.
