Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Maintenance Technician III in Hanover Park, IL, on a 2-2-3 rotating shift. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and improving injection molding equipment in a fast-paced plastics environment.

Pay ranges $35-$42/hr with weekly pay and full benefits after 90 days. The position requires strong electro-mechanical skills, arc flash awareness, and ability to read wiring diagrams; on-site work with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting.
• Injection molding experience preferred (plastics) in the industry.
• Able to troubleshoot up to 480V AC and read wiring diagrams, schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems including robotics, automation, and molding machines.
• Perform complex mechanical repairs, adjustments, and rebuilds to maintain uptime.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance routines.
• Calibrate equipment using specialized testing tools.
• Support machine changeovers and optimize molding parameters for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain equipment data for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
