Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Set Up Technician to establish, optimize, and troubleshoot injection molding processes. You will ensure consistent, high‑quality production through scientific molding practices, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in an injection molding environment, ITAR compliance, and the ability to work 3 PM–11:30 PM with a shift differential. Randstad USA offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in injection molding environment.
• Meet ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setups, startups, and process validations; establish decoupled molding parameters (fill, pack, hold, cooling); optimize cycle times to minimize scrap.
• Identify and resolve process issues, equipment alarms, and defects (flash, sink, warp, short shots, etc.) to support floor operations.
• Lead lean initiatives to reduce downtime and scrap; collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams on root-cause corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate setup sheets and process logs per ISO/regulated standards; train floor operators on process safety and quality control.
