CHS Inc. is seeking a Senior Ingredient Buyer for a remote role, overseeing procurement for feed manufacturing across the U.S. You will review sources, negotiate terms, and manage ERP-based purchasing to ensure on-time deliveries. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Preferred candidates are located in Sioux Falls, SD or St. Paul, MN areas. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 4+ years in supply chain, procurement, or merchandising is required.

Formación

• Requires 4+ years in supply chain management, procurement, purchasing or merchandising.
• Experience in animal nutrition manufacturing or feed industry is preferred.
• Ability to build strong professional relationships and negotiate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Review, analyze and select best sources of supply; select vendors based on information.
• Negotiate prices, terms and delivery of feed ingredients to keep orders complete and on time.
• Create purchase orders and contracts; manage procurement in the ERP system.
• Place orders with vendors and complete purchase orders in the ERP.
• Communicate ingredient supply issues to stakeholders and Purchasing manager.
• Collaborate with Global Grain Marketing to leverage scale and product lines.
• Develop purchasing strategies for ingredients; ensure safety policies are followed.
• Build strong relationships with Plant Managers and Production Teams.
