Job summary

Option Care Health seeks an Infusion Nurse II in Florida to coordinate and provide intermediate patient care in the home or infusion suite under a physician plan of care. The role emphasizes patient safety and adherence to policy.

You will educate families, perform treatments, administer medications, and document care in real-time for continuity and billing. A BSN and 1 year infusion experience are preferred; CPR is required; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required (an in-person class is required per company policy).
• Demonstrated competency in patient care standards and infusion skills applicable to agency programs.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit and documents physician orders.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed to ensure patient safety.
• Keeps real-time clinical documentation during visits for billing and care continuity.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries with patient instructions.
