Job summary

Aecon U.S. in Kent, Washington seeks a Sr. Proposal Manager to drive RFQs, RFPs, EOIs and Market Soundings for major infrastructure projects across Western Canada and the Western United States.

You will work with internal and external teams to build high-quality, deadline-driven submissions. Ideal candidates bring a university degree in English/communications, extensive proposal leadership experience, and strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• University degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, business or related field.
• Experience leading large and complex civil infrastructure proposals.
• Proven ability to lead proposals with large joint venture teams.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Strong writing, editing and formatting for formal submissions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Aecon’s formal submissions in response to RFQs, RFPs, EOIs and Market Soundings.
• Lead large proposals with multiple external joint venture partners.
• Oversee proposal staff and coordinate meetings, reviews and calendars.
• Write, edit and format proposal sections and project sheets.
• Ensure timely delivery of content and compliant submissions.
• Organize meetings, action items and documentation in SharePoint/OneDrive.
• Support content development from subject matter experts and site personnel.
• Attend pre-bid and post-bid reviews and summarize lessons learned.
