Job summary

Aecon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee large-scale infrastructure projects in Washington State. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will manage startup and closeout, change orders, risk, and stakeholder coordination across a multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in complex projects, a civil engineering background, and proven leadership in self-perform or design-build environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Degree in civil engineering is an asset.
• Experience managing self-performing and design-build projects.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with bridges, highways, or hydroelectric dams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects within budget, schedule and quality targets.
• Lead project startup and closeout activities.
• Protect Aecon's interests under the Prime Contract.
• Manage change orders and identify contract scope changes.
• Mitigate risks and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain relationships with owners, partners, consultants and subcontractors.
• Oversee planning, staffing and safety programs.
• Assist in securing new work through bidding and proposals.
