Job summary

Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (IEI) is seeking an experienced Proposal Team Lead to guide our proposal team in crafting winning responses to RFQs and RFPs within the civil/structural engineering space.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of proven proposal experience in the AEC industry, with strong storytelling, design, and InDesign skills to produce compelling, compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
• 7-10 years proven experience crafting proposals in the AEC Industry; Civil Engineering focus is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the RFQ/RFP process for state, county, and municipal transportation agencies.
• Advanced InDesign skills; proficiency with other Adobe products is a plus.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to develop visually unique graphics for proposal covers, tables, and illustrations.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create customized and comprehensive proposals, managing production to meet RFQ/RFP requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to gather information from technical, business development, marketing, and teaming partners.
• Manage proposal timelines and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Engage and manage proposal team resources for multiple concurrent proposals.
• Review RFQs/RFPs to create clear proposal roadmaps and conduct necessary research.
• Weave brand, experience, and personnel stories with strong graphics and layouts.
• Write, edit, and proofread proposal content for completeness and coherence.
• Help build a productive, successful proposal team and identify production efficiencies.
• Create/modify InDesign templates and other graphic materials as needed.
