Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Infrastructure Planner to support NA-91 across NSE infrastructure programs from a remote location with occasional travel to Washington, DC and Albuquerque, NM.

The role requires extensive experience in infrastructure planning, capital programs, and cross-functional coordination, interfacing with senior leaders to develop strategic recommendations and investment prioritization for mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management, planning, business, or related field.
• Eight+ years of experience in infrastructure, facilities, construction, capital planning, or related program management.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or implementing infrastructure or capital investment plans.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure planning including mission requirements, facility condition, utilities, risk, and schedules.
• Ability to analyze complex infrastructure issues and translate into practical recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Strong program management and coordination skills including planning, budgeting, risk and performance.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including executive briefings and recommendations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure planning expertise and develop strategies to sustain, recapitalize, and modernize NSE infrastructure.
• Review NNSA site infrastructure plans, master plans, investment strategies, and related planning products.
• Integrate requirements, capacity, risk, schedule, and resources for near-, mid-, and long-term planning.
• Support enterprise infrastructure initiatives, including office space, utilities, and other needs.
• Evaluate investments with sequencing, dependencies, implementation approaches, and mission impacts.
• Assess changing mission requirements, funding, schedules, and site conditions; develop cost and risk recommendations.
• Provide technical, analytical, and programmatic advice to NA-911 leadership and managers.
• Coordinate across NA-90, NNSA programs, and Sites to align planning with priorities.
• Develop senior-level briefings and decision materials for leadership.
• Lead planning initiatives and share infrastructure planning knowledge with junior team members.
