Job summary

AV is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to lead a team of analysts and engineers ensuring Windows and Linux infrastructures run efficiently. The role unifies communications, messaging and identity, supports ITIL processes, and acts as escalation for Service Desk.

Requires senior-level Windows/Linux admin skills, VMware/Azure experience, and ITIL knowledge. The ideal candidate will manage on-prem AD, DNS, networks, and cloud identity, while controlling vendor SLAs and invoicing.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience with Windows and Linux-based OS configuration, automation, and management.
• 8-10 years of experience with Automation scripting including PowerShell and other configuration as code tools.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Systems Administration/Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Management or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• ITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.

Responsibilities

• People and team manager of team and responsibilities of its members.
• Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT incidents.
• Server administration Windows and Linux deployment.
• Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day to day operational basis.
• On-premises infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routing.
• Identity and user management solutions provided by Azure or 3rd party.
• Ownership and review of 3rd party product invoicing; ensure costs match business expectations.
• Follow-up and drive 3rd party product SLAs to meet business requirements and contracts.
• Other duties as assigned
